We are very much a community marketing business and although the Highlands is a vast geographic area the sense of community pervades all areas, be it small hamlets or the big ‘Highland Smoke’ itself, Inverness!

So, with all our branding work it is vital that we foster a sense of community around the brand, leading to increased customer loyalty, positive word-of-mouth marketing, and a strong brand identity.

Engaging with customers through social media, forums, and other platforms to build a loyal and active community that advocates for the brand is essential.

As is establishing a genuine and relatable brand identity with transparent brand values, mission, and personality. Authenticity builds trust, and a trustworthy brand is more likely to attract and retain a community of supporters.

We always try as well, to create content that resonates with a client’s target audience and this content strategy includes a mix of informative, entertaining, and inspirational material. We also like to encourage community participation by inviting users to share their experiences and opinions.

Being active and responsive on social media platforms is obviously a no-brainer in 2024, and continuing the conversation with the audience through comments, messages, and polls works well too.

We like to organise and participate in events that bring the community together, be that in-person or virtual events, such as product launches, webinars, workshops, or social gatherings. These events create a sense of belonging among the audience.

In the past  – and we will continue this in future – we have identified and supported causes that align with relevant brand values. Engaging our community in supporting these causes through collaborative efforts not only builds a sense of community but also contributes to a positive brand image.

And we actively seek feedback from the community and involve them in decision-making processes when appropriate. This not only makes them feel valued, but also strengthens their sense of ownership in the brand.

We try to provide excellent customer support and focus on building relationships. We know that when customers feel heard and valued, they are more likely to become advocates for the brand we are promoting.
