Hughes & Innes

Rebranding an Established Business

When we first met Helen and Steven Hughes, we were so impressed by their showroom (pop down to Henderson Road for a look yourself!) The quality of everything in their range was quite striking. We chatted through the type of customer they serve and it because apparent that people don’t always know it’s a high end bathroom shop before they visit.

At that time, the business was called ‘Bathroom Planet’. We discussed the branding as it was at the time along with the name. Following a really great brainstorming session, we established that the name may have connotations of more bargain products.

We set about creating a brand and a new name to propose to the business. We felt that the navy and gold colours set the right tone for the luxury products on offer in the store.

We don’t always get the branding absolutely right first time – our clients will often want to see tweaks to the colours or style – but in this case, the client decided it was love at first sight!

We set about providing all of the logo files the guyswould need for any future applications. We provided vector files for signage and rastor files for web and social and even embroidery files to create smart new uniforms.

Responsive Web Design

Once the branding was complete, we got started with designing a beautiful new website to really convey the stylish quality you can expect to find at Hughes and Innes.

The guys chose to go with our copy writing service so that they could get on with their day jobs and leave such a time consuming job to us!

We were really fortunate with this one to have so much gorgeous photography at our disposal. The kitchen and bathroom manufacturers provided some amazing shots of the different ranges and we feel these really enhanced the look and feel of the website.

Inspiration

To add a bit more to the journey of a Hughes and Innes customer, we built an Inspiration page. Somewhere a customer can go to explore lighting, paint colours (there’s even a colour matching tool) and ideas for how to best use the space you have to play with in your kitchen or bathroom.

Helen and Steven liked this touch because anything that makes their customers’ experience more enjoyable is great for everyone.

“The whole team at Adder Business were very friendly and professional. They have recently carried out a total rebrand with a new website, logo, facebook and business cards.  They exceeded our expectation and provided invaluable advice and tips for moving our business forward.  We will definitely be continuing our working relationship with Adder Business”
